Colar de contas, predominantemente quartzo talhado.
The colors of quartz range from transparent colorless clear to milky white, pink, or smoky gray. The quartz beads originating from West Africa occur in two distinctive types. The ancient smoky quartz beads found in the desert sands of Mali are generally small and uniform in size. They have well-polished surfaces and their size typically does not exceed ten millimeters in diameter. Another common type consists of larger hand-cut and crudely-formed oblate or disk-shaped beads, the largest specimens measuring fifty millimeters or more in diameter.
